H-D AXLE LOCK

This part will eliminate your belt from loosening under heavy load situations. We have seen in many instances that belts that have broken are due to them becoming slacked out and then heavily stressed during re-tensioning. Belts that are properly tensioned will last longer and perform better. Harley-Davidson’s rear axle cam design works great for ensuring the belt is aligned side to side, but keeping constant pressure on the belt when applying high horsepower/torque applications can allow the cam to turn in loosening the belt. Our axle lock is the best way to ensure the belt will NOT loosen. Included in the axle lock kit will be an indexing dimple point screw to help with installation. INDIAN CAM GEAR LOCKING TOOL

If you ever decide to tackle replacing your cams on your Indian Motorcycle you will know that holding the gears in place can be a fiddly task. The service manual permits you to use a cut-up ratchet strap to hold the gears from spinning while loosening or torquing the outer cam gears. This was an unacceptable method for us; therefore, we designed this locking tool. After our 3rd revision, we have developed a great little piece to help with doing cams on all Thunderstroke engines. Whether you are a seasoned mechanic or a weekend DIY you could get used out of this tool! Simply insert between the intake cam gear and main drive gear and voila! Properly torquing these bolts is a necessity. In some cases, even with Loctite we have seen the bolts back out and contact the cam cover due to improper torquing. The tool is made from TXXXXX aluminum to be strong enough, but not enough so to damage the steel teeth of the cam gears. BTW torque of these bolts is 52ft lbs. Happy wrenching!

INDIAN DE-CATTED HEADER (PEACE PIPE)

ttt2014-current heavyweight Indian Motorcycles have a large catalytic converter in the header just behind the driver’s right floorboard. The problem with a catalytic converter is that for it to work correctly, it needs to get hot to work, very hot. The reduction of airflow is less then people might expect, but the removal of this component will allow air to flow less restricted to the mufflers. The main benefit of the removal of the catalytic converter is to allow for a reduction of heat under your right leg. The peace pipe has a factory rear flange for a perfect fit for the motor, but the cat has been completely removed. A small baffle piece has been re-inserted into the header to help prevent backfiring, as well as the “tinny” sound some de-cats induce. Using our peace pipe retains the perfect alignment of factory heat shields and clamps. It is almost unnoticeable to see that this part has been installed. Also, don’t forget this exhaust shaves some weight over the factory pipe. We require a core swap of your stock rear header. If this is not possible an additional charge will be required. Tuning is highly recommended after the installation of this component. This component should be utilized for off-road use only.

INDIAN LOWERING KIT 2IN.

If you have a 2014 and up heavyweight Indian Motorcycle and would like it lowered, we have the solution! Purchasing an expensive lowered shock may not be an option for you. This lowering link will allow you to lower your bike 2 inches. We recommend increasing your preload to avoid bottoming out over large bumps. They are made of laser-cut steel, powder-coated black, and are very durable. Installation is preferred to be done by a professional as removal of rear shock must be performed to install.
